Bert Schreurs is Professor of Human Resource Management at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB). His work explores how people function at work — what motivates them, what stresses them, and what helps them build sustainable careers. Before joining VUB, he taught at Maastricht University, Utrecht University, and KU Leuven.
He has published in several top-ranked journals such as Journal of Organizational Behavior, Journal of Occupational Health Psychology, Journal of Vocational Behavior, Human Resource Management Review, and Work & Stress. He is a Past Chair of the Academy of Management Careers Division.
